Mark has over 40 years of real estate experience. He currently manages the company’s Kansas City and Orange, CA offices which are responsible for the Southwest Region including the major markets of Los Angeles, San Diego, California’s Inland Empire area, Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, and El Paso.

Mark’s most recent projects include assisting a major LTL carrier with expansion into Arizona and Southern California, managing the disposition of over $12M in surplus properties for one of the largest transportation companies in the United States, locating land for transportation facilities, and searching for and securing numerous “Final Mile” properties.

Before joining Burr & Temkin in 1997, Mark spent over 20 years at Yellow Freight System, Inc., where he managed the Real Estate Department which was responsible for 600 properties. He gained valuable transportation real estate experience in performing property searches, acquisition and disposal, leasing, tax-free exchanges, built-to-suits, presentations and negotiations with planning commissions and city councils, land assemblages, and development.

Mark has served as Chairman, Treasurer, and Secretary for the Terminal Properties Exchange; Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Secretary for the Board of Directors for the Community America Credit Union; and on the Marketing Advisory Board of the University of Missouri’s Department of Marketing. He holds a Business Degree from the University of Missouri.
