Since joining Burr & Temkin in 1997, Jerry, a Principal, has been involved in four liquidations, sale and lease transactions in thirteen states and provided real estate services as an outsource for a top five and a top 20 regional LTL carrier. With his 30+ years of experience as described below, Jerry has become a knowledgeable and reliable asset to many companies seeking assistance with their real estate planning, acquisition and disposition activities.

Jerry joined Burr & Temkin after nearly 20 years with a multi-national transportation and investment company where he held positions as Vice President – Real Estate, Director of Acquisition and Development, President of one subsidiary and General Partner of one holding company. In such capacities, Jerry acquired over 200 terminal properties, planned and developed retail sites, industrial parks, mobile home parks, U.S. Customs Inspection facilities, an urban development for a border crossing and was involved in the design of all new construction.  He obtained a foreign trade zone designation and was responsible for corporate litigation and was involved extensively in condemnation actions and malpractice actions.

Jerry manages the Detroit and Philadelphia offices, which are responsible for the Northeastern Region of the Country and Canada.

Allison, Lease Administrator, joined Burr & Temkin in 2008, and brings a background in retail management, dealing with issues related to inventory, customer service, and sales.

She is involved with negotiating lease renewals, coordinating lease negotiation information between brokers and the client, and assisting with the preparation of lease documents for client’s review and signature. Specifically, Allison is responsible for lease administration duties, maintaining lease and database records on a portfolio of approximately 290 truck terminal properties for an international carrier, tracking and identifying critical dates, and communicating that information to members of client’s management.

Allison has a Bachelor of Arts, from Oakland University, in Sociology and Anthropology, has additional training in computer-aided design, and has completed her Michigan real estate licensing course work.
