Dave, a Principal in the firm since 1994, has an outstanding track record in assisting growth carriers with their needs in the South-Central Region of the United States and has become the premier broker of transportation facilities in Texas, Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska and Missouri. With Burr & Temkin, he has successfully completed the liquidation of property portfolios for several bankrupt companies and recently has been involved in the sale of numerous Yellow Roadway Corporation (YRC) surplus properties.

Prior to joining Burr & Temkin, Dave was employed in the real estate departments of Yellow Freight System, Inc. and American Carriers, Inc. He specialized in build-to-suit projects, terminal design, income producing property management, construction project management and marketing of surplus properties.

Dave has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Engineering Management with a minor in Architecture from Kansas State University. He manages the Kansas City and Dallas offices, which are responsible for the South-Central Region of the Country.

Mike Eggleston

Mike, who joined Burr & Temkin in 2008, has over 25 years experience in corporate real estate, law, appraisal and environmental issues. His primary responsibilities are to serve as business manager and to assist on special projects, as needed.

Prior to joining Burr & Temkin, Mike created and led the Corporate Services Division of a 60-year-old commercial real estate firm in Kansas City. In this capacity, he handled the real estate requirements (including site selection, lease negotiations, lease administration, tax appeals, and acquisition due diligence) for a variety of private and public sector clients with portfolios across the country. Representative projects include designing and implementing a national roll-out expansion plan, handling lease administration for several medium sized portfolios, and assisting public sector clients with acquisitions and disposition strategies.

Mike previously served as Director of Legal and Real Estate for a publicly traded propane retailer for nearly a decade. He was responsible for directing a nine-person department and managing the company’s legal function and real estate portfolio of roughly 2,000 owned and leased properties across the country. Prior to that, Mike served as a senior member of the corporate real estate department for Yellow Freight System for 10 years. His experience includes managing the lease administration function for 250-300 leases, site acquisition activity in several states, and disposition of surplus properties across the country.

Mike is Vice-President for Burr & Temkin and works out of the Kansas City office. He has a Master of Public Administration from the University of Kansas, as well as a B.A. and Juris Doctor from the same institution. He is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, and holds a salesperson license in both Missouri and Kansas.

Rhonda Dehner

Rhonda, Real Estate Coordinator, joined Burr & Temkin in 2002. She has over 15+ years of corporate management experience from financial and transportation industries in the areas of finance, human resources and operations. Rhonda quickly became an integral part of the operations in both Kansas City and companywide. She provides expertise in the areas of marketing, sales coordination and customer support.

Working directly with both Mark and Dave, Rhonda supplies direct support for projects in the Southwest and South Central Regions. She offers leadership, training and assistance to administrative members of the Company in all the other offices.

Rhonda is a licensed real estate salesperson in Kansas.
