Burr & Temkin Welcomes New President

In December of 2017, Dave Dandurand was elected President of Burr & Temkin and will start his 25th year with the company later this year.

His formal educational and professional journey started with a passion for architecture, a field he initially envisioned himself working in. Eventually that desire waned and shifted leading to a degree in Engineering Construction Management. Putting his knowledge to work, Dave began working for various construction companies and was later hired at Yellow/Roadway where he discovered his skill at managing transportation real estate. This path, eventually lead him to a transportation real estate brokerage career at Burr & Temkin.

In 1994, Dave became a Principal in the firm, working as a premier broker of transportation facilities in Texas, Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska and Missouri. Throughout his career, Dave has successfully liquidated property portfolios for several bankrupt companies, sold and leased numerous surplus properties, and brokered land sales for and managed various build-to-suit projects. Additionally, Dave managed Burr & Temkin’s Kansas City and Dallas offices, offices responsible for the South-Central Region of the country.

Dave attributes his success in industrial real estate brokerage to his design and construction background. His formal education not only gave him the technical abilities to understand the functionality of transportation real estate but helped mold him into a creative problem solver, un-phased by difficult situations.

Dave intends to use his experience and personal vision to take Burr & Temkin to new heights while continuing to provide clients the responsive, excellent service they’re accustomed to.
